GOD’S LAMBS CHILDREN’S CLASS

Ages for this class are 2 through 10. We study stories of Jesus and others in the Bible, learn memory verses, do crafts and play games.

SEEKERS: ADULTS - ALL AGES
LEADER: DALE ELZIE, PASTOR

Focus on Christian fellowship and mutual support of members. Explore the Scriptures in detail to help us study the relevance of the Bible in our lives and learn ways share our faith with others. We welcome diversity, varieties of opinions and healthy debate as we strive to grow in our faith.

THE COMPANIONS CLASS
LEADER:
JIM SURRENCEY
We are a small adult class currently studying Personal Evangelism.   Our purpose is to become better disciples for Christ by improving our ability to speak of our savior to those outside the faith, and by developing greater awareness of opportunities around us for doing so.  (Think about it!  If God uses you in any way to introduce someone to Christ, your life has now counted for eternity.)

BIBLE AND THEOLOGY CORNER
United Methodism is Vital Christianity

United Methodism is vital because it calls us back to the one might act of our religion: the grace of God in the hearts of people. It asks us to return to the glory of first-century Christianity so that we may sit at the feet of the apostles and learn from them the true meaning of our religion. And whenever United Methodism remains true to its genius, it persuades the world to enter into that same kind of vital religion. This is the altar round which the Church is built. So all else must be seen as a means of promoting apostolic Christianity in the world today. Christian doctrines, the Bible, public worship, the sacraments, and the programs of the Church all exist to bring people into a living fellowship with God, to assist them to grow in grace, and to enable them to do a great work for God. (From Major United Methodist Beliefs, Mack B. Stokes, 15th printing)
